I loved KLoe hotel, I don't want to stay anywhere else if I come back to Malaysia and my friend said the same. The staff were so friendly and helpful, there was a great positive vibe every time we came in or out. The Room To Grow was one of the most special hotel rooms I've ever stayed in - being surrounded by plants was lovely. The Rooms to Grow, Listen and Taste are at the front of the building and a little noisier with the main road below but manageable and nothing a good pair of earplugs couldn't handle if you're a light sleeper. The bed, pillows, shower, and sitting room were all comfortable - firm bed but that's my preference. The complimentary childhood favourite snacks was a lovely touch and the cafe downstairs was very good for a quick breakfast or meal. The location is central, with plenty of restaurants in walking distance, and Grab made it easy to get anywhere further. As others have said, the hotel is up a narrow lane before the service station, but all of the Grab drivers seemed to find it easily. We didn't want to leave!

I loved the hotel even though construction was going on. However, there were some things I did not like about the area. I found the back area quite sketchy since we used the back to enter and exit. A stripped, graffitied car 20 feet away, an open shack-like shelter 100 feet away where someone was living. Then the glitzy, over-the-top marketing with all of the super expensive retail stores, endless traffic, begging on the streets, and garbage was quite overwhelming. The hotel was great and I enjoyed the markets and the Batu Caves, and my tour guide, but that was it. I would not recommend KL to anyone to visit. Too many endless freeways and traffic, too much garbage and lack of infrastructure, and poor city maintenance. A lot of potential, but poorly designed and lacking basic upkeep. Sorry this is what I did not like.

The staff were warm, friendly and wonderful people. They looked very happy to be working there, it shows in their expressions. The breakfast at the cafe by the lobby was also great, tasty dishes and again great staff. I liked how their philosophy is the homey feeling, we definitely felt like the hotel was just a super big home we were sharing with other guests. The lobby is like a big family room, with a kitchen and cosy dining area. The room was spacious, tidy and clean. The bathroom was cute, you have a swivelling door to close either the toilet or shower cubicle. Other than that, Jibby & co has a beautiful establishment right next to the pool on the first floor. The food was delicious, and there’s a good range of options. Shame we didn’t get to try the pool, maybe next time!

We only stayed for one night but truly loved the hotel's environment and atmosphere. The architecture is beautifully integrated with greenery, giving it a calm and refreshing feel. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A big thank you to the team—when we were checking out, our car wouldn’t start. A staff member who happened to walk by immediately offered help and brought over a jump starter. Thanks to their kindness and quick action, the car started successfully. We’re really grateful for their help. This kind of thoughtful service deserves 5 stars to the management. Thank you!

I love the "Room to Draw" allows me to slow down our steps and go back the inner self. After drawing doesn't need to think about cleaning up the mess. That's the best part. And their turndown service was so thoughtful. Bathtub with tv is always my favourite. Staffs well trained and very kind hearted to share little tidbits of the stories on this hotel and the founders experience, healthy and concern about our makan timing which breakfast extend til 5pm. Industrial concept that works for such compact cozy hotel located in the middle of the hectic town.
